Why did Kelly Clarkson leave ‘The Voice’?

The first “American Idol” champ had been hinting at some significant life changes prior to “The Voice” making the announcement that Clarkson will not be returning to the competition for the fall 2022 season.

She stated earlier this year, as according to Google, “I’ve decided that there are just (going to be) a few adjustments for me that I can’t say here.” “While still being able to work, I’ve been able to grind out more time for myself and my children. Just someplace where my kids and I can fly away on the weekends and do a few really fun things.

Clarkson is focusing her efforts on “The Kelly Clarkson Show,” which is currently in its fourth season and has been given the coveted time slot formerly occupied by Ellen DeGeneres, after taking some time off during the summer to recover. The show will feature a range of guests throughout the season, including Hillary Clinton, Jill Obama, the very first lady, and Clarkson’s colleagues “Voice” coaches Hugh Ross and Gwen Stefani.
